About the Sudbury Music Festival
Sudbury Music Festival is a non-profit organization dedicated to music enrichment, primarily for children and youth. Founded by the Kiwanis Club of Sudbury in 1945, the Festival was reconstituted as the Sudbury Music Festival in September 2021 upon the closure of the local Kiwanis Club chapter.
Sudbury Music Festival provides participants of all ages with the opportunity to grow personally and musically through performance and evaluation in a supportive, community-oriented atmosphere. Categories include piano, voice, musical theatre, speech arts, strings, woodwinds, brass, percussion, accordion and guitar, for soloists and small and large ensembles. Competitors achieving exceptionally high standards may qualify for the provincial music festival competition.
